General
Yes. All drone operations conducted by Clearpoint Aerial are performed under FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certification. Every flight is fully legal, compliant, and insured. You never have to worry about whether the drone is supposed to be there — it always is.
We're based in Stony Point, NC and primarily serve the Western NC and Piedmont region — covering 22 counties including Iredell, Alexander, Catawba, Lincoln, Burke, Caldwell, Wilkes, Mecklenburg, Gaston, Forsyth, Davidson, and more. Projects outside this area are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Yes. Clearpoint Aerial carries full commercial drone liability insurance on every operation. This protects you, your project, and your site from any liability concerns related to the drone flight.
Drone operations are weather dependent. If conditions are unsafe or unsuitable for flying — high winds, rain, low visibility — we will reschedule at no additional charge. We'll always communicate early if a weather delay is likely and get you rescheduled as fast as possible.
You work directly with Shelton Griffin — the owner and operator. You're not dealing with a call center or a subcontractor you've never met. Shelton plans the flights, flies the site, and delivers the files personally on every project.
Fast. Once you submit a quote request, we respond the same day. Service agreement goes out the same day you're ready to move forward, and your first flight is typically scheduled within the week.
Construction Documentation
Construction progress documentation is a recurring drone service where we visit your active job site on a fixed schedule — weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly — and capture aerial photos and video of your project. Everything gets delivered to an organized Google Drive folder within 24 hours of each visit, giving you a complete visual timeline of your build from groundbreak to completion.
All construction documentation plans have a 3-month minimum, then convert to month-to-month. This ensures we can build a consistent visual record of your project without gaps. Commercial plans start at $399/month and residential home construction plans start at $199/month.
You do. All aerial photos, video, and deliverables are yours outright. No licensing fees, no usage restrictions, no catches. You can use the footage for investor updates, lender draws, marketing, legal documentation, or anything else you need.
All files are delivered to a shared Google Drive folder within 24 hours of each site visit. Everything is organized and date-stamped so you can find exactly what you need. You can share the folder with clients, investors, or project managers directly.
Our construction documentation service is designed as a recurring subscription to build a complete visual record of your project. For one-time aerial shoots of a job site, reach out and we can discuss options — though recurring documentation is where we provide the most value.
Real Estate
Our real estate packages include aerial overview photos from multiple angles, with options to add property line overlays, property info overlays, and cinematic aerial video depending on the package. All files are delivered MLS-ready within 24–48 hours. Packages start at $99.99 for the Baseline and go up to $279.99 for Premium which includes aerial video.
Most residential real estate shoots take 30–60 minutes on site depending on the property size and package. Larger properties or those requiring video may take longer. We'll always give you a time estimate when we confirm your booking.
Real estate files are delivered within 24–48 hours of the shoot. We understand your listing timeline matters and we don't hold you up. Files are delivered in MLS-compatible formats, ready to upload directly.
Yes. Under FAA Part 107, we can fly over residential areas for commercial purposes including real estate photography. We conduct a full airspace evaluation before every shoot to ensure compliance with all local airspace restrictions and FAA regulations.
Marketing & Events
We cover a wide range of events across Western NC — from car shows, tractor pulls, and rodeos to music festivals, county fairs, 5K runs, and charity events. If you can host it, we can fly it. Check our Marketing page for the full list of event types we work with.
As early as possible. Some events — particularly large ones near airports or in controlled airspace — may require FAA authorization that can take up to 90 days to obtain. The sooner you reach out, the easier it is to secure your date, keep the process simple, and avoid extra costs. For standard events with no airspace issues, a few weeks is usually sufficient.
We deliver production-ready content — not raw footage. Every marketing shoot includes edited, formatted photos and video ready to publish to social media, your website, or advertising platforms. You shouldn't need to do any additional editing work on your end.
Marketing and event projects are custom quoted based on your specific needs — event size, location, what you need captured, deliverables, and any special requirements. Submit an inquiry on our Marketing page and we'll come back to you quickly with a quote.
Deliverables & Files
Photos are delivered as high-resolution JPEGs ready for MLS, print, and digital use. Video is delivered as MP4 files optimized for social media and web use. If you need a specific format for a particular platform or use case, let us know and we can accommodate.
All files are delivered via Google Drive in an organized, date-stamped folder. You'll receive a share link and can access, download, and share the files immediately. For construction projects, the same folder is updated after every visit so you have a running archive in one place.
Absolutely. Before your first shoot we'll discuss your specific needs and build a custom capture plan. If there are particular angles, features, or areas you want prioritized, just let us know. For recurring construction projects, we establish consistent shot angles from the start so every visit matches.
