What Clearpoint Does
One service, described precisely.
Clearpoint Aerial captures and delivers dated photographic and video records of construction sites, on a schedule set in advance.
That is the whole service. The value is that the record is consistent, that it is dated, and that the person who captured it has no stake in what it shows.
What Clearpoint Does Not Do
The boundary, stated plainly.
Clearpoint does not perform land surveying, engineering, or home inspection, and does not produce any deliverable that requires a license to produce in North Carolina. Specifically, Clearpoint does not provide:
- Land surveys or any deliverable reserved to a licensed surveyor
- Engineering analysis, calculations, or certifications
- Home inspections or written evaluations of building systems
- Opinions on whether work is correct, complete, code-compliant, or defective
- Dimensional data of any kind
If a project needs any of the above, it needs a licensed professional, and Clearpoint is glad to be flying the same site for a different purpose.

Your Files
Who owns what, and for how long.
You own the images
Full commercial use, no watermark, no license to re-purchase.
Retention
The client receives and owns every file at delivery and may keep it indefinitely. Separately, Clearpoint retains its own indexed archive for the duration of the agreement plus 12 months, and for ten years on Build Record Plus and dry-in envelope flights, so a file can be retrieved by date if the client's copy is lost.
Unaltered after delivery
Files are delivered dated and indexed and are not renamed, reordered, or altered after delivery.
Your project stays yours
Clearpoint does not publish client project imagery without written permission.
Scope Statement
Clearpoint Aerial provides visual documentation services only. Deliverables are photographic and video records of site conditions visible on the date of capture. They are not land surveys, engineering assessments, or home inspections, and are not a substitute for the services of a licensed surveyor, engineer, or inspector.
